Our staff has been engaging in activities designed to help us learn about the history of the place where Spul’u’kwuks sits and to build community with each other.  By building our own understanding, we can work with our students to engage in a school-wide inquiry of who we are as a community of learners in addition to strengthening our classroom communities.  Staff learning has been supported by an inquiry grant, professional development opportunities for all staff, individual and small group learning, committee work, and resource seeking/sharing.  Staff have also been engaging in cooperative activities with each other that are designed to enhance their understanding and sense of connection to each other and our community.
