An action that we have taken to support our school’s learning focus is:

Staff in all roles have contributed to a school chart to document the strategies we are using from classrooms, through Resource and ELL support, and in the Library to develop literacy skills, including vocabulary development. 

This action supports our school’s learning focus in the following ways:

We know that staff are using many literacy strategies in their work and we all benefit from sharing what we are doing to help others and learn new strategies.  

This also provides our learners with consistent language in literacy development.
