On Monday, March 18, 2019, we held an assembly for the entire school to launch our new slogan, S.O.A.R.  SOAR stands for Safe, Ownership, Accepting and Respectful.  We want our students to be and act safe, to take ownership of their behaviour and learning, to accept themselves and others and to be respectful of others and this place.  Staff felt we needed common language around what we value and what we stand for.  Our next steps are to come up with a new eagle logo jointly with the students, which will be used with new Spul'u'kwuks T-Shirts and other clothing.  Our hope is that this re-branding of our school logo will bring the school together and build a stronger community.
