In the third term, we implemented "SOAR Assemblies" by gathering our students in the gym (half at a time) to help clarify expectations for all students.  This helps us to set the tone for what it means to be a "Spul'u'kwuks Eagle" and to create a sense of community and belonging.  The assemblies focused on a different message (how to move to the gym, how to be a good audience member, how to use the playground equipment respectfully, school boundaries, etc.), and included the idea of kindness to ourselves, to others, and to our place.
