Our school has commissioned Debra Sparrow, a renowned Musqueam artist, to create a mural at the front of our school to illustrate the meaning of our school’s name.

We have been busy raising money for the mural through a variety of fundraising projects, including our recent Makers' Market.  Individual classes from Kindergarten to Gr. 7 decided on an Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies project to produce a product for sale at the Makers' Market.  Families were invited to come to the Market after school to see our work and to purchase items to support our fundraising efforts.

Through the Market, we have been able to demonstrate our learning and work together towards a common goal.  We are looking forward to the completion of the project this spring!
